GDPR - What´s to do now

The GDPR will finally come into force on May, 25th of 2018.
If you haven't done anything so far, check out the essential following activities:
1. Appoint data protection officers, if necessary.
2. Create a "directory of processing activities".
3. Obtain any necessary consent for processing.
4. Conclude any necessary data processing contracts with contract processors.
5. Define processes and write a process manual.
6. Oblige and train employees.
7. Conduct data protection impact assessment, if necessary.
8. Provide data protection information (online/offline).
9. Document all efforts.
