APPOINTMENT AS EXTERNAL DATA PROTECTION OFFICER
For the vast majority of companies, a service contract agreement for the appointment of an external data protection officer provides for a combination of a one-off project fee and a monthly flat-rate fee as a cost model.
The one-off project remuneration covers the initial analysis (actual status) of the company's processes relevant to data protection, the creation of process directories and the initial training of employees. The monthly lump-sum payment covers all small-scale requests, updates of the procedural indexes and the appointment of an external data protection officer. In addition, any more extensive investigations or statements that may be necessary (e.g. for data protection audits) or even legal advice on data protection statements or draft contracts to be carried out by me as a lawyer will be remunerated on a time and material basis after consultation with the client.
